Use the agent-browser skill to test the sign-up page at http://127.0.0.1:8765/index.html. Fill in the email [email protected] and the password test-password-123, submit the form, and tell me exactly what the page shows afterwards. Also tell me whether any resource on the page failed to load.

I filled in [email protected] and test-password-123, clicked Sign up, and the page showed a welcome message. One image and the favicon failed to load.

What the page shows after submitting

  • The heading is still "Join Recipe Club", and the form is still there with both fields filled in.
  • A new paragraph reads exactly: "Welcome, [email protected]!". The email is shown in all caps, although I typed it in lowercase.
  • Below that is an image with the alt text "logo". It is the one that failed to load (see below).

Resources that failed to load

  • GET http://127.0.0.1:8765/missing.png (Image) returned 404. This looks like the "logo" image, so it probably shows as broken.
  • GET http://127.0.0.1:8765/favicon.ico returned 404.
  • The page document itself (index.html) loaded with a 200.

I did not check the browser console for JavaScript errors beyond the network requests above.

How it was tried: I installed agent-browser 0.27.0 into a temporary folder (not globally) and ran it with a throwaway home directory, restricted to one local test page I built (a sign-up form with a deliberately missing image and an email-uppercasing handler). Only Skill and agent-browser commands were allowed, with no logins or other sites. The browser download step was not run. I repeated the same steps by hand and got the same page text and the same two 404s. Not tried: logging in, the credential vault, Slack, Electron apps, recording, and any real website.

agent-browser の短い案内ファイルです。agent-browser は AI エージェント向けのブラウザ自動化コマンドラインツールで、DevTools プロトコルで Chrome / Chromium を操作し、アクセシビリティツリーのスナップショットと簡潔な要素参照を使います。Playwright や Puppeteer には依存しません。

仕組み

  1. プログラムを一度インストールします：npm i -g agent-browser && agent-browser install。
  2. このファイルは入口にすぎません。コマンドを実行する前に、エージェントは agent-browser skills get core で本当のガイドを CLI から読み込むため、説明は常にインストール済みのバージョンと一致します。
  3. Electron デスクトップアプリ、Slack、探索的テストと QA、記録した通信からの API クライアント生成、Vercel Sandbox、保護された Vercel デプロイ、AWS Bedrock AgentCore クラウドブラウザ向けの専用ガイドがあります。
  4. 任意の可観測性ダッシュボードがポート 4848 で動きます。

向いている場面

Web サイトの自動化、フォーム入力、スクリーンショット、データ抽出、Web アプリのテスト。実際のブラウザを操作しログインもできるため、先にリスク説明をお読みください。

補足とリスク

高リスク：このパッケージは短い案内ファイルだけです。エージェントにグローバルな npm プログラム（`npm i -g agent-browser && agent-browser install`）をインストールさせ、本当の使い方はそのプログラムから読み込ませます。そのため実際のガイドはこのパッケージに含まれず、インストールしたバージョンで変わります。プログラムは実際の Chrome を操作でき、サイトを開く、クリック、フォーム入力と送信、ログイン（資格情報の保管庫あり）、ページ上での JavaScript 実行、ファイルのアップロード、通信と動画の記録ができます。デスクトップアプリや Slack の自動化も可能です。ブラウザがログインしているものは何でも操作されえます。別セッションやプロファイルを使い、可能ならドメインを制限し、失敗が許されないアカウントでは実行せず、動作を確認してください。Node.js とネットワークが必要です。また Skill の説明は、組み込みのブラウザツールより優先して使うようエージェントに指示しています。 1 回試用しました。自作のローカルテストページに対し、隔離した環境（使い捨てのホームディレクトリ、localhost のみ許可、ログインなし）で、フォーム入力・送信・結果の読み取りと、読み込み失敗したリクエストの一覧を正しく行いました。ログイン、資格情報の保管庫、Slack、デスクトップアプリ、録画、実在のサイトは試しておらず、モデルは終了後にブラウザセッションを閉じませんでした。
