About Skillpeek

Skillpeek is a directory of Skills for Claude Code and other AI agents. A Skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file that teaches an agent how to do one job. There are many of them online, and it is hard to tell which are worth installing. Skillpeek lists the ones we have looked at, and tells you what we found.

How a Skill gets listed

  1. Check the license. If the source does not allow redistribution, we do not list it.
  2. Read SKILL.md and every other file in the package, including scripts.
  3. Note anything that runs commands, reaches the network, reads credentials or changes files.
  4. Try the Skill with a real request where it is safe to do so, and record the actual output and the model used.
  5. Write the page: what it does, when to use it, and the risks.

What the labels mean

  • License verified: we checked the license of the source and it allows listing.
  • Includes scripts: the package contains scripts the agent may run. Read them first.
  • Needs external service or credentials: it works only with an outside account, API or key.
  • Demo (real run): the output of one real run with the model named on the page. Your result will differ.
  • Not tried: we read it but did not run it, so there is no demo. Treat it with extra care.
  • Risk level: our own judgment of what the Skill could do to your files, accounts or machine.

What we cannot promise

Our review is a careful read and, where possible, one real run. It is not a security audit, and it cannot guarantee that a Skill is safe, correct or right for your task. Skills change over time, and the original author controls them.
